Privately held Community Bank established in 1899 is expanding its mortgage division in the Dallas /Fort Worth market and is looking for Mortgage Loan Originators. We will set up executive suites offices for our loan officers locally, or may office in our “mid-cites” bank location.

We offer extremely competitive loan products and rates with exceptional processing and underwriting support for fast turnaround. 

The right candidate will need to be energetic and have good attention to detail. An individual in this position should have at least 3 years of recent Mortgage Loan Originating or A.E. experience.  Essential duties may include:

  • Develop referral relationships among the professional community including realtors, homebuilders, accountants, attorneys, home improvement contractors, other lenders, credit unions, and community development agencies.  This position is responsible for obtaining outside leads and does not depend solely on leads provided by Herring Bank.
  • Interview mortgage applicants and Identify tangible benefit in regards to their specific financing needs and set proper expectations. Analyze customer’s financial posture and determine if it meets the loan criteria established by the Bank.  Assist customer in completing application and gathering and submitting full documentation as needed.
  • Perform phone duty assignments as required by being available to answer cold call customers’ questions and give them guidance.
  • Submit complete loan file to operations for processing and underwriting.
  • Maintain communication with loan processor and customer(s) and provide assistance in collecting additional data as may be needed.
  • Comply with all S.A.F.E. Act regulations including keeping registration information (including but not limited to name, home address and work address) up to date and status as active.
  • Ability to schedule and complete tasks and duties without constant, direct supervision.
  • This individual must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills. Must have the ability to respond appropriately to customer inquiries in a fast-paced work environment while handling multiple tasks.
