A well-established Dallas law firm is seeking a leadership-minded Transactional Attorney to help lead sophisticated
corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and governance matters. This role is designed for an attorney who thrives on
complex deal-making, strategic client counseling, and practice growth.
Position Summary
This mid-sized Dallas firm is known for building long-term strategic partnerships with national organizations. Its
transactional practice manages sophisticated matters across mergers and acquisitions, commercial real estate, and
general counsel services for highly regulated industries. The attorney in this role will play a pivotal role in the direction and
growth of the corporate practice, with a focus on M&A, corporate governance, deal structuring, commercial agreements,
and regulatory and compliance-related business matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a diverse range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and
strategic investments - Partner with clients to architect deal structures and expansion strategies
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements and high-stakes transaction documents
- Advise on entity formation, governance, and operational contract strategies
- Coordinate due diligence and closings while managing internal teams and external advisors
- Serve as a primary point of contact for senior leadership within client organizations
- Coordinate with the real estate team on leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions
- Mentor associates and collaborate with firm leadership on practice development and growth initiatives
