A company is seeking a Gas Revenue Accountant to ensure accurate and timely recording, analysis, and
reporting of gas revenue activities. This role supports the integrity of revenue data by maintaining allocation
accuracy, processing purchaser information, and assisting with key financial and regulatory reporting
processes.

Position Overview
The Gas Revenue Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely recording, analysis, and
reporting of gas revenue activities. This role supports the integrity of revenue data by maintaining allocation
accuracy, processing purchaser information, and assisting with key financial and regulatory reporting
processes.
Key Responsibilities
Monthly
- Complete monthly production-to-ERP interface to ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Maintain and update gas allocation data from the flow grid
- Input and reconcile data from multiple gas purchasers
- Prepare and report gas severance taxes in compliance with applicable regulations
- Support the Prior Period Adjustment (PPA) process
Ongoing and Ad Hoc Responsibilities
- Analyze gas pricing, contracts, and related revenue impacts
- Support escheatment processes and required reporting
- Assist with annual 1099 reporting requirements
- Provide support during internal and external audits, including data preparation and analysis
