A law firm is seeking a highly skilled and deeply experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal specializing in
asbestos, mass tort, and toxic exposure litigation.
This individual will manage heavy asbestos/mesothelioma or toxic chemical dockets from pre-litigation
intake through heavy trial preparation and final resolution. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-stakes, fast-
paced environment and has an intimate understanding of complex medical-legal causation arguments.
Key Responsibilities
Docket & Case Management: Oversee a massive case docket of toxic exposure or asbestos-related
files, maintaining flawless case tracking, discovery timelines, and trial calendar deadlines.
Pleadings & Motions Drafting: Draft highly complex, customized legal documents including master
petitions, motion responses, discovery demands, and expert disclosures.
Medical & Exposure History Analysis: Order, review, analyze, and summarize voluminous medical
records, pathology reports, and occupational exposure histories to establish medical causation.
Expert Witness Coordination: Act as the primary liaison for medical experts, toxicologists, and
industrial hygienists. Assist in compiling background materials for expert depositions.
Trial Preparation: Assemble comprehensive trial binders, master exhibit lists, and witness cross-
examination files. Coordinate complex logistics for upcoming multi-week trial settings.
Client Engagement: Guide severely ill clients or grieving family members through the litigation process
with compassion, professionalism, and clear communication.
