A confidential manufacturing client has asked Babich & Associates to recruit an experienced
Maintenance Technician for its second-shift operation.
This position requires more than general facilities maintenance. The successful candidate will
have three to five years of direct experience maintaining injection molding equipment and will be
comfortable troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical failures in a
production environment.
Candidates should be able to read electrical schematics and hydraulic prints, identify PLC
inputs and outputs, interpret ladder logic, and safely test 240V and 480V circuits.
Experience with thermolators, dryers, vacuum-loading equipment, hot-runner controllers,
pumps, robotics, and other molding auxiliaries is highly desirable. Toshiba press experience is
an additional advantage.
Key Responsibilities
● Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
● Complete work-order documentation
● Perform lubrication and filter service
● Complete leak repairs
● Conduct safety-device inspections
● Follow established lockout/tagout procedures
Shift
Monday-Friday, 2:45 p.m.-11:05 p.m., with occasional Saturdays
