A respected and growing North Texas architecture firm is seeking an Interior Designer with at least two
years of experience to support commercial, civic, educational, and institutional projects. This opportunity
offers hands-on design experience, mentorship, and meaningful exposure to FF&E programming.
This position is ideal for an early-career interior design professional who wants to build a long-term career in commercial
architecture and interior environments. The successful candidate will work closely with a senior Interior Designer and
collaborate with experienced architects, consultants, and other design professionals throughout the design and construction
process.
Projects may include:
- Higher-education facilities
- Municipal and government buildings
- Public-sector projects
- Community and institutional facilities
Key Responsibilities - Assist with interior design concept development and documentation
- Support FF&E selection, specifications, programming, and package preparation
- Produce construction documents and design presentations using Revit
- Coordinate with project architects, consultants, and clients
- Participate in project meetings and design reviews
- Assist with finish selections, materials research, and space planning
- Support projects throughout the design and construction process
Preferred Background
Candidates from accredited interior design programs, including Texas Tech University, the University of North Texas, the
University of Oklahoma, or comparable programs, are encouraged to apply.
The strongest candidates will have a genuine interest in commercial interiors, public-sector projects, and architectural
environments. Applicants whose experience has been primarily residential should demonstrate a clear interest in
transitioning to commercial interior design.
