Technical Support Supervisor


Our Dallas professional services client company is searching for a hands-on Technical Support Supervisor to lead, direct and participate in the daily activities of a team of 8-10 Technical Support Specialists that provides smartphone, telephone, desk-side hardware/software and basic network support to a diverse group of professionals and support staff situate in multiple office locations throughout both the U.S. and internationally.


The successful candidate will have 5+ years of technology support experience, 2+ years of supervisory experience, and be familiar with various support, delivery and enforcement methodologies and technologies including Windows 7 & 10 and Windows Office Suite. S/he will also be able to develop and coordinate work schedules; identify and schedule appropriate training programs; assist in evaluating Technical Support Specialists’ work performance and assist with periodic employee performance evaluations pursuant to company policies and procedures; coordinate and disseminate desktop, applications and other systems support information and procedures for the Technical Support Specialist team; and supervise the activities of third-party technical support services in offices locations without local technical support staff. 


S/he will further oversee the support of desktop, laptop, printers and other end-user hardware from installation to end-of-life disposal; will assist in the evaluation of new products or services and suggest changes to existing products or services to better aide the end-user; be able to develop, enhance and communicate procedures addressing how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected to ensure maximum issue resolution in minimum time; and lead the implementation and enforcement of company-wide policies, standards and methodologies to deliver efficient, cost-effective and reliable IT support services. 


S/he must be able to work from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM M-F; be open to some overtime at 1 ½ as well as occasional travel (not exceeding 20%); and be either a U.S. citizen or permanent U.S. resident (green card holder). A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred, though not required.


This is a permanent direct-hire opportunity that will pay a starting base salary from $60,000 to $70,000, in addition to a superb comprehensive full benefits package including 401(k), annual profit sharing and bonus structure.
