50+ year-old privately owned company headquartered in Dallas, Texas seeking Controller. 

Responsibilities:  Primary responsibility for a department of four revenue accountants.  The Financial Controller will report to the CFO.  Duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare annual Financial Statements of COMPANY using a modified completed contract method of accounting. 
• Prepare weekly cash flow summaries for the owner.
• Assist with the accounting and financial issues of approximately 10 other COMPANY owner related entities.
• Provide accounting guidance for the revenue processing function and well working interest calculations.
• Oversee outsourced COMPANY payroll for approximately 50-60 employees in two office locations.
• Manage treasury functions including cash management and bank relationships. 
• Oversee accounts payable function for COMPANY and other COMPANY owner related entities.
• Supervise COMPANY expense reporting and American Express accounting.
• Oversee and manage COMPANY’s corporate and health insurance needs.

Skills & Requirements:

• Certified Public Accountant
• High comprehension of oil & gas accounting, specifically partnership revenue distributions.
• Proficient in recognizing, analyzing and solving issues.  Attention to detail is imperative.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work seamlessly amongst fellow team members, investing partners and operators.
• Enertia Software experience.

Compensation:  $150,000 - $175,000 salary plus bonus package.  Benefits include health, dental, vision and 401k with match.  Company covers 100% of the employee’s health, dental & vision costs.
