A growing civil engineering firm in Lewisville is seeking an experienced Civil Design Technician with 4-5
years of land development experience. This position will work directly with a licensed Professional Engineer
on commercial and residential development projects from initial design through municipal approval.
The ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and comfortable producing accurate civil construction
documents while coordinating with engineers, survey teams, municipalities, and other project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare civil construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Develop site, grading, drainage, utility, and paving plans for commercial and residential land
development projects
Create and maintain surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, and pipe networks
Coordinate with survey teams and incorporate field data into project drawings
Revise plans in response to municipal and agency review comments
Prepare plats, exhibits, and supporting project documents
Assist with quantity takeoffs and other project-related calculations
Work directly with a licensed Professional Engineer to carry projects through review and approval
