A legal client is seeking an Intellectual Property & Technology Litigation Associate Attorney with strong
academic credentials and significant litigation experience in patent and ITC matters. This role offers immediat
responsibility, substantial client contact, and the opportunity to work closely with partners nationwide on
complex IP and technology litigation.
The attorney will handle federal court litigation, trade secret matters, trials, PTAB proceedings, ITC matters,
and other complex disputes across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle litigation focused on patents, trade secrets, false advertising, unfair competition, and other IP rights
in federal courts and before the USITC - Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, appellate briefs, and correspondence with counsel
- Work with experts, including assisting in the preparation of reports
- Assist with discovery in litigation, including document discovery, written discovery, and taking and
defending depositions - Prepare for and assist with jury trials, bench trials, and administrative hearings
- Prepare for, assist in, and argue motion arguments, trials, and appellate arguments in state and federal trial
and appellate courts - Assist with administrative hearings before the PTAB and ITC
- Support dispute settlement strategies, including mediation and other types of dispute resolution
- Conduct and assist in PTAB proceedings and matters before the ITC
- Conduct and manage legal research and writing
